Mermaid Summer into Witchy Fall

One question returns each year to plague me as Summer Mermaid season shifts into Fall Witch season.

Would you rather be a mermaid or a witch?

Also, are mermaids just sea witches?

Each respective camp has plenty of their own merits, including:

VS

Hocus Pocus, Candy Corn, Boots, Apple Donuts in Camp Witch

Anyone who is up for discussing, I'm ready to go through your lists. Also, PLEASE send me all of your favorite mermaid/sea adventure books! The FABLE series by Adrienne Young and BRING ME YOUR MIDNIGHT by Rachel Griffin are two of my favorites with ocean beauty vibes oozing out of conch shells.

And, now seems as good a time as any to plug my own book THE ETERNAL NIGHT SOIREE. If you're like me, both witch and mermaid obsessed, I can say without spoiling anything that this book has both. Except the mer creatures are called merlagoons. And, now, I've truly said enough.

I'll also solicit for witchy books recommendations with the fair warning: I have read A LOT of them. Still, I'd love to hear your favorites.

Happy it's still Summer until September 22 then we dust off the boots and buy oodles of apple spiced treats!
