I was gonna start my first blog in two years about how my two books have changed so much since the last time I wrote. But, apparently A.I. has way better suggestions to write about.
Top suggested title and topic?
Beatrix's Bobbit's revision suggestions
Now, I'm wondering if I should scrap everything I planned to write about and instead just write every blog post based off of A.I.'s suggestions.
After all, who wouldn't want to know what sweet, quirky Beatrix would have to say about writing revisions. I imagine, it'd go something like this.
Beatrix Bobbit was up way past her bedtime. It was important to her potion that the cast of moonlight be just right. So that she'd never have to do homework from Mrs. Bobbit again. But, just as she was creeping out the back door, she tripped and fell into the garden.
Someone grunted loudly behind her.
Mr. Bobbit startled to sit on the black and white tile floor, a small and furry ball clutched protectively in his large hands.
"Beatrix? You almost knocked into Penny." Mr. Bobbit said, stroking the rabbit's silky fur.
"No I didn't! I tripped on you," Beatrix pushed herself to her feet, collecting the pile of twigs that had scattered during her fall. "What are you doing sleeping by the back door?"
"Penny prefers the fresh air," Mr. Bobbit ran one free hand through his crooked mustache. "What are you doing sneaking around the kitchen?"
Mr. Bobbit's mustache twitched then as he looked over his shoulder. When he spoke again, he lowered his voice to no more than a grumble. "Do you know where the cookies are?"
To be continued, because I miss Beatrix Bobbit. And, I didn't even get to explain about Mrs. Bobbit's strict no magic rule for homework. Or how Beatrix managed a work around.
Anyway, I'm back and so is Beatrix, and Luna too. Luna's made some fun new friends, including the Merryweather Four and her number one frenemy, Castor, the smug personified Sun who holds an important clue to a long ago disappearance that's related to what's currently happening in the Silver Isles.
There is a lot to be excited about. Like, for example, last night I saw the wildest waves splashing up from Lake Michigan, shooting rainbows. Oh, and from the writing side, I'm really ready to share some brand new snippets too.
If you have anything you'd love to see on the blog (like waves shooting rainbows!), let me know in the comments!
Otherwise, I'll catch ya around here and on Instagram where I begrudingly will post photos and updates whilst continuing the search for my dream literary agent.
